The painting is by My Gibeaut. It reminds me of an entrance into another world.
The link below leads to a page that shows which points to use for what kinds of problems you wish to treat: The YinYang House site is a wealth of information for understanding and practicing healing . Like all arts and sciences, healing takes time to learn. Do not be intimidated it is worth the effort.

The ear is another wonderful way to treat yourself or anyone else. Remember you do not have to use needles. You can use the blunt end of a pencil or pen. You can use your finger. You can rub or press or pull the area indicated. You can send chi to the area. You are only limited by your fear or lack of creativity.
I urge you to be experimental. Try using the ear and the hand and maybe even some points of the body during the course of a treatment. I find I get excellent results by combining different methods. The book I have found the most helpful for ear treatment is one by Mario Wexu, D.AC, " The Ear; Gateway To Balancing The Body" It can be found at the author's website :

Just for the sake of clarity, remember you do not have to use needles to get good results. But you do have to do something. If you want to give it a try, I suggest you order it from your local Library. When you have the book go to chapter nine. Ear Acupuncture Treatment. It lists a whole series of problems and the major and secondary points for treating them. Use one or more points for a few minutes. Be a good student and be patient but persistent.
Let me say for the umpteenth time that the things in all the acupuncture books I have recommended work without needles. You can use pressure or just light touch or even just placing a finger or hand over the point. Now for ear treatment. If you have pain somewhere, or someone you want to help is in pain, look at the picture of the ear above. Find the place on the ear that represents the place that is in pain. Touch the place with your finger, no pressure at all. Keep your finger on the point till the pain begins to recede. In most cases it will begin to diminish and even dissapear. The key is to take your time long enough for it to work. Sometimes it works in a minute or less. Sometimes it takes five or ten minutes Sometimes the pain comes back, sometimes it does not.
If you use Wexu's book go to chapter nine, Ear Acupuncture Treatment. In this section are many medical problems and how the points that are major and minor points for treatment. Look up one and check the major points and try one or two points with any of the modalities I recommended. Be a good student and be patient but persistent. If you cannot afford the book or want to try it before you buy it, I suggest a visit to your local library. They can order a copy.
Medical chi kung and all the healing methods found on this blog can help, but only if you use them.
The Knots Untie
by Runi
Fire is whispering a secret in smoke's
ear, "This aloe wood loves me because
I help it live out its purpose. With
me it becomes fragrance, and then
disappears altogether!" The knots
untie and open into absence, as you do
with me, my friend. Eaten by flame,
and smoked out into the sky! This is
most fortunate. What's unlucky is not
to change and disappear. The black soil
must crumble to give itself to plants.
Think how sperm and egg become a smiling
face and head. Bread must dissolve to
turn into thought. Gold and silver in
their raw forms aren't worth much. This
way leads through humiliation and contempt.
We've tried the fullness of presence. Now
it's time for desolation. Love is pulling
us out by the ears to school. Love wants
us clean of resentment and those impulses
that misguide our souls. We're asleep,
but Khidr keeps sprinkling water on our
faces. Love will tell us the rest of
what we need to know soon. Then we'll
be deeply asleep and profoundly awake
simultaneously like cave companions.
