River's Chi House

I have created this free site to provide information that might prove to be helpful to you or your family or friends or even to a stranger or two that might be in need of some help. The second link in the Link section will take you to the introduction to my bog. Links found near the top are the most useful for understanding chi and healing. There are some real treasures here if you but take the time to find them, inshAllah.

The Best Book On Medical QiGong

I have searched for years for good books on a wide variety of healing techniques. The best book I have found so far on medical chi kung or qigong is by far "Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy" by Jerry Alan Johnson. You can find reviews and buy it at the following link:

More information can be found about Jerry Alan Johnson and his school at the following link:

I have been using his book and DVDs for over a year now and have found them to produce good and consistent results. Some things I read seemed a bit far out, but the proof is in the results not the descriptions n'est pas? On this strange journey I have found many treasures in what I first dismissed as nonsense. I urge you to not be to attached to what you think cannot be, or to what you think you already know. Unfortunately I have found that an open mind is not a natural state for most of us. Just as we have to stretch our muscles before a workout so must we stretch our minds before a worthwhile journey. As Will Rodgers once said, " It is not what you know that will hurt you. It is what you know that ain't so," Our quest for real knowledge is most limited by our commitment to our past understanding. There is a martial arts saying that, " We train today to defeat yesterdays understanding."
