"All Talk Was Madness, Filled With Dos And Don'ts"

In one of his quatrains Rumi writes: 'All my talk was madness, filled with dos and don'ts. For ages I knocked on a door-when it opened I found that I was knocking from the inside!" The above quotation and picture comes from the following link; http://www.sevenray.net/sri_journal_v2n1_rumi.html "The House of Love" Why is there always music in this house? Ask the owner. Idols inside the Kaaba? God's light in a pagan temple? Here is a treasure this world could not contain. The house and its landlord are all pretext and play. Hands off this house, this talisman. Don't argue with the landlord; he's drunk every night. The dirt and garbage are musk and rose. The roof and door are music and verse. In short, whoever finds this house, is ruler of the world, Solomon of his time. Look down, Lord, from the roof; bless us with your glance. I swear, since seeing Your face, the whole world is a fraud and fantasy. The garden is bewildered as to what is leaf or blossom...

"He Had A Whim Of Steel And A Will Of Mush."

My wife says she has seen me look like the above photo on some days but that my average is good. But I have to say, I would NEVER drink Bud Light. I prefer Blue Moon or a bottle of French chardonnay on those days. She also says to " watch for the man/woman in the Full Moon tonight and be sure to absorb some of it's wondrous chi. " I agree with her about the Moon. Absorb it's chi tonight! Our ability to focus our minds and actions over extended periods of time determines the quality of our lives. That ability does not come naturally to a human being. It has to be cultivated over a long period of time and must constantly be nourished by a life long commitment to some kind of mental and physical practice. That is why I urge everyone to do some kind of disciplined practice like mediation, chi kung, taichi , yoga, or whatever speaks to you, on a daily basis for at least a half and hour. It is never to late to start to discipline your mind/body/spirit. You can start with a...

A Man With Something To Say Anout Chi and Healing.

The photo above is of a chi kung teacher and healer who posted the letter below in a yahoo medical chi kung group. His website can be found at the following link; http://www.iqiyou.com/ A man named David (not me) asked a question and this was Andrew's reply. I found what he said to be very wise and helpful, I hope you do as well. David, Many forms of qigong can be applied to your problem. Much qigong is designed around Chinese Medicine theory surrounding organ systems, including their main meridians and acupuncture points, which deemphasizes muscular-skeletal issues. Thus, muscular and skeletal issues are addressed with qigong indirectly by linking the areas of pain to meridians or the pain itself to certain organs, which are then treated with a kind of big arrow pointed toward your pain. What you might wish to emphasize in your learning in order to more directly deal with your pain, is the power of intention to locate, surround, penetrate and ultimately dissolve qi stagnati...
