I send my self a Valentine, and a symbolic box of chocolates and I do it with loves and appreciations. It feels good to love yourself and not feel bad about doing it. Standing naked in the face of the moment is sometimes what is needed for health. We have no guarantee of what the next second will bring. We have our hopes and our fears and general and particular expectation but really the next second arrives unique. Because the next second is probable dose not mean it is inevitable. When expectations are confirmed we sometimes fall into believing that life is much safer and predictable than it truly is. And then BOOM shit hits the fan. We live on a razor sharp edge and it is foolish and dangerous to pretend other wise. One day soon death will call us out and we will go. We want security and safety when there is none, no matter what our minds tell us. There is only now and the the next now. You want me to say that there is something you can do to make things other than they are beyond the delusion or understanding. There is nothing I can tell you.  I raise my glass of Laphromaig whiskey in appreciation...
