Chi and The Beautiful Foot.

If you click on the above illustration it will get larger and easier to see and use. The same is true of any and all the photos and illustrations on this blog.

Time for a bit of foot chi kung.

The above illustration is of reflex points found in the feet.
Master these points and you will be able to help yourself and your friends and family when needed.

The photo above is me sending chi into Kidney 1. You will notice you can use either one finger or two, it does not matter.

Kidney 1 is the start of the Kidney meridian and one of the most powerful acupoints on the body. I find Kidney 1 very helpful for most problems. Touching and holding this points for a few minutes to a half an hour will often ease leg pain and if held long enough will spread chi through the whole body reducing pain and discomfort and strengthening the whole being. The energy body is like a giant river or ocean. If you treat any one point long enough the chi will eventually be felt through the whole body. Following are some more things Kidney 1 may do when worked with enough. How long is enough varies with each treatment. Intuition and study and practice will show you the way, inshAllah.
" Descends excess from above, useful for LV Yang Rising or LV Fire - headaches, tinnitus, hypertension, epilepsy.
Cooling KD empty heat - chronic sore throat, dry mouth, low back pain.
Tonify KD/HT Yin - insomnia, palpitations, anxiety, poor memory, mania, rage w/desire to kill, hot flashes, night sweats.
Loss of consciousness, yang collapse." This quote taken from the following link, http://www.yinyanghouse.com/acupuncturepoints/kd1
Kidney 1 can also sometimes help with loss of voice and chronic laryngitis and chronic pharyngitis. It can also ease or eliminate headaches and help with dizziness. It also sooths the liver and strengthens the Kidney. I am referring to the Chinese understanding of the kidneys and liver, not as an organ, but a flow of energy through the body.

Above is a photo of more powerful acupoints found on the foot and leg. You can press these points or just touch them ,. If you move your touch in a clockwise direction it strengthens the points actions. A counter-clockwise movement will reduce pain and inflammation, inshAllah.

Spleen 3 can help gastroenteritis, and digestive problems. SP3 strengthens the spleen meridian and helps the stomach meridian.
Kidney 3 is very powerful.
"Tonify KD Qi, Yin or Yang Deficiencies from any etiology.
Asthma from KD Deficiency - difficulty inhaling.
Tonifies Yin of KD (chronic sore throat, empty heat), LV (dizziness, tinnitus, headache) a/or HT (anxiety, insomnia, excessive dreaming).
Low back pain, usually of a chronic nature.
Local point for heel a/or ankle pain." The above quote is from the following link.

Spleen 6 is especially important for women during their moon time i.e. periods. It is about three inches up from the ankle bone and can be found by pressing . It will be very tender. Holding a light touch at Spleen one will often ease or eliminate menstrual cramps. I recommend a counter-clockwise movement. It can take awhile sometimes to reduce or eliminate the pain so be patient. Sp 6 is also good for treating problems in the legs and problems with the bladder and urinary tract.
"Tonify Yin and Blood, all Spleen disorders.
Digestive disorders, sinking/prolapse.
Gynecological issues, male sexual issues, difficult labor (expel fetus).
Bleeding disorders, cool blood in hot skin diseases.
Insomnia and other anxiety related emotions"

One of the best things you can do for another human being besides love them and listen to them and be real with them is to massage their feet. I massage my wifes feet as often as I can. She does the same with me. She treats my hands more then my feet. Both are wonderful. I will cover the hands later.

I urge you to get to know your feet. Spend time learning where the reflex points and the acupoints and the meridians are on your feet. Study how to press and pull and massage and treat your feet. Study and practice various ways to send chi into the acupoints on the feet. Learn on your own feet and the feet of your families and friends. You can find enough information on the web to start your journey. There are no excuses not to learn and practice foot healing except laziness and apathy. People need help and this is one easy way you can help.

Massaging and treating the feet with chi is easy to learn and will influence all kinds of medical problems for the good. If you are getting a foot treatment, wash your feet. If you are giving one, have the person wash their feet before the treatment. After a foot treatment if you gave it, always clear yourself using one of the techniques found on this blog after a treatment.

One Hand Near One Hand Far Healing Technique.

One Hand Near One Hand Far is a very powerful healing technique developed by a chi kung master named Dr Zia Gang Sha. You can find more about him by clicking the tiltle of this entry and it will take you there. I posted this information a couple of years ago but I think it is time to do it again. Start by being aware of the lower dan tien. Move your awareness from lower dan tien to the laboring Palaces. If you have a place in your body that hurts or needs help place one of your hands, we will call this hand the near hand, about 4 to 7 inches away from the painful area. Point your first two fingers of that hand at the painful area. Imagine that energy is flowing from your lower dan tien to the Laboring Palace of the near hand. Then guide the chi from laboring palace out through the two pointing fingers into the area in your body being treated. This is One hand Near. Now take the other hand which we will call the far hand, and place it about 12 to 20 inches from your lower dan tien. Aim ...

Congratulations You Did It!!!

I say this to you my student/teacher/brother. You are of the Hawk and Crow People now. The Hawk and the Crow fly with you, now and forever. I salute you my brother. I salute your courage and determination. Congratulations. I celebrate and sing this song. My student/warrior/friend is out of the hospital and eating. His story can be found in my blog sections "When Pain Comes Try This." and "You Can Cower In The Corner Or You Can Stand And Fight." When he was faced with his own fear and pain and uncertainty he chose to stand and fight. When you must chose, chose to stand and fight. Remember we are never alone. Remember that and smile. He has passed one of his initiations with honor and pride. Many others are doing the same even as you read these words. Let all the warriors of the Heaven and the Earth who stand and fight with honor and determination give you courage and strength when you need it most. Remember, you are not alone and smile. A new adventure now opens to...

In Search of the Miraculous. Chinese Medicine

Remember, God treats you like you treat your lover. Being a good lover is the highest form of humanity as far as I am concerned.Sometimes being a good lover means letting go of each other. Such is life. Before I share the first chi kung exercise it is important to understand a couple of fundamental differences that separate Chinese and the western medicine. I am going to be a bit repetitious but as they say " Education is repetition." Western medicine understands and relates to a human being as a physical/psychological/social organism. Chinese medicine understands and relates to a human being as a radiating field of energy that exists in and as a series of interrelated fields of energy all of which exists in an all encompassing field of energy. A human being has a physical/psychological/social manifestation but the key in Chinese medicine is the energy field not the manifestations of the field. If the energy field is strong and balanced health will manifest. If it is not...
