I love and NEED to balance being pissed at and fighting the jerks who got their feet on our necks with the realization that there are no necks or feet. What incredible wonderful/horrible Illusions our thoughts and actions create in the face of the wonder and mystery of Being Here. I have no idea what Being is or what and where Here is. I just appreciate IT and feel sorry for and want to be supportive of those of us who get a very bad impression of BEING HERE. (sigh) I send loving supportive healing energy to all sentient beings myself included

I offer this prayer to you all from the Buddhist tradition. From my heart to yours.

Metta Karuna Prayer

O Amida,
Oneness of Life and Light,
Entrusting in your Great Compassion,
May you shed the foolishness in myself,
Transforming me into a conduit of Love.
May I be a medicine for the sick and weary,
Nursing their afflictions until they are cured;
May I become food and drink,

During time of famine,
May I protect the helpless and the poor,
May I be a lamp,

For those who need your Light,
May I be a bed for those who need rest,
and guide all seekers to the Other Shore.
May all find happiness through my actions,
and let no one suffer because of me.
Whether they love or hate me,
Whether they hurt or wrong me,
May they all obtain true entrusting,
Through Other Power,
and realize Supreme Nirvana.

One Hand Near One Hand Far Healing Technique.

One Hand Near One Hand Far is a very powerful healing technique developed by a chi kung master named Dr Zia Gang Sha. You can find more about him by clicking the tiltle of this entry and it will take you there. I posted this information a couple of years ago but I think it is time to do it again. Start by being aware of the lower dan tien. Move your awareness from lower dan tien to the laboring Palaces. If you have a place in your body that hurts or needs help place one of your hands, we will call this hand the near hand, about 4 to 7 inches away from the painful area. Point your first two fingers of that hand at the painful area. Imagine that energy is flowing from your lower dan tien to the Laboring Palace of the near hand. Then guide the chi from laboring palace out through the two pointing fingers into the area in your body being treated. This is One hand Near. Now take the other hand which we will call the far hand, and place it about 12 to 20 inches from your lower dan tien. Aim ...

Congratulations You Did It!!!

I say this to you my student/teacher/brother. You are of the Hawk and Crow People now. The Hawk and the Crow fly with you, now and forever. I salute you my brother. I salute your courage and determination. Congratulations. I celebrate and sing this song. My student/warrior/friend is out of the hospital and eating. His story can be found in my blog sections "When Pain Comes Try This." and "You Can Cower In The Corner Or You Can Stand And Fight." When he was faced with his own fear and pain and uncertainty he chose to stand and fight. When you must chose, chose to stand and fight. Remember we are never alone. Remember that and smile. He has passed one of his initiations with honor and pride. Many others are doing the same even as you read these words. Let all the warriors of the Heaven and the Earth who stand and fight with honor and determination give you courage and strength when you need it most. Remember, you are not alone and smile. A new adventure now opens to...

Swimming in The Ocean of Chi

This drawing comes from Mantak Chia's webpage: http://www.healing-tao.co.uk/ht_microcosmic_orbit.htm This drawing links to the following: http://www.naturespathcenter.com/pages/Intermclass.html The first thing to do before starting any chi kung practice is to move into a comfortable position. This can be sitting, standing, or reclining. Start to relax all your muscles from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. Regulate your breathing so your belly goes out on the inhale and in on the exhale. Above all else smile. During a chi kung practice try to keep a smile in your heart and let it often flow to your lips. Place smiles in all three dan tiens. Remember to be very kind and patient with yourself. But also remember to stay focused. Of course you will lose focus during the exercises because your mind and emotions will tend to take you away from your intention to practice. When this happens as soon as you notice that you are thinking instead of doing th...
