River's Chi House

I have created this free site to provide information that might prove to be helpful to you or your family or friends or even to a stranger or two that might be in need of some help. The second link in the Link section will take you to the introduction to my bog. Links found near the top are the most useful for understanding chi and healing. There are some real treasures here if you but take the time to find them, inshAllah.

80/20 Rule

Be A Good Student

“As to methods there may be a million and
Then some, but principles are few.
The man who grasps principles can
successfully select his own methods.
The man who tries methods ignoring principles
 is sure to have trouble.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

When we are confronted with difficult situations requiring us to make critical decisions we either trust our fate to other people’s experience and knowledge or we have to become good students of whatever game we are forced to play or chose to play. A good student commits to learning the major dynamic principles inherent in any subject she is studying. After understanding the dynamic principles of what she confronts her choices will be made in creative relationship to those principles or they will probably not be effective. So when in doubt as to what to do in any critical situation I try to become a good student.
