Sometimes You Have to Face it!

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

Albert Camus

“History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people but the appalling silence of the good people.”

Martin Luther King
The question we ALL have to ask ourselves right now is, "Am I a good person?" Do not be to quick to answer the question. Take some time and let it sink in and examine your life to see how you really feel about what is going on and what you are doing about it. Not just what is going on in the world socially, politically and economically but what is going on in YOUR LIFE. How are you with your mate or your children or your parents or your friends or your enemies? What kind of person are you in RELATIONSHIPS?
It is a dangerous thing to try to change the world outside our relationships until we confront ourselves on an on going basis about how we personally relate to others. We must commit to facing and examining ourselves and than commit too transforming ourselves when needed so we can be a good person. The beauty is that when enough of us do that the world will have changed.

“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson”

Franklin Delano Roosevelt

A hand written letter written to Colonel House, November 21st 1933
